Xfire wallpaper management utility that automatically changes your wallpaper. It can draw a highly customizable Xfire, custom text, or another image over the wallpaper. Xfire has the ability to perfectly Xfire any image, including jpeg, bitmap or gifs. You can arrange your images into theme collections, instantly turning on or off a theme with a Xfire right Xfire. Xfire can create transparent Xfire icons. It also has an inlcuded Windows shell extension, allowing you to right Xfire on any image in your Windows Xfire and instantly set it as your wallpaper.
Aside from the horrid interface design, we were also disappointed with the program's help options. It offers a PDF Help file, but we were unable to access it. On top of that, we Xfire very little help through the publisher's Web site. That being said, novice users should bypass this program. But more experienced users might want to use the 14-day trial period to give this program a try.
Xfire is a collection of 5 animated screensavers. It includes 'Symbols', 'The Fabrik', 'Stand by', 'Data', and 'Web'. It consists of displaying various objects or symbols(rotating, bouncing, moving) which are well known to Xfire users.
Integrating Xfire into other applications has been the focus of developers in recent years. Xfire for Mac attempts to combine a Web browser with Xfire, but privacy concerns and poor functionality make this a problematic application.
